2019

In 2019, the Foundation reached several important milestones by serving over 2500 families annually through our many diverse soccer programs. We are especially proud of reaching more than one thousand at risk youth from a broad range of multicultural and socioeconomic backgrounds through our soccer for success scholarship program. We also engaged over one hundred referees through our Teen Work Initiative

2014

In 2014, the Foundation created the Chicago KICS International Showcase. Since inception, our tournaments have engaged over 8000 players from 18 different nations.

2010

In 2010, the Foundation continued to grow and at that time, we were serving over 500 families through our recreational soccer programs. This is when we began referring our families to competitive club soccer

2008

In 2008, the Foundation began offering other affordable youth sports programs such as; flag football, floor hockey, basketball and track. At that time, soccer was our largest program, so we decided with our limited resources, it was best to focus on soccer.

With a growing swell of requests from our community and valued partners to bring back recreation sport opportunities - in 2020 Tina & Scott founded Chicago Rec Sports LLC

2006

Dr. Soctt Hanlon founded Near South Soccer League & Near South Youth Association, which evolved into the Chicago KICS Foundation. The same year Tina Feldstein co-founded the Prairie District Neighborhood Alliance.
